Let's Peel Back the Layers.

Therapy for kids, teens, and families who are ready for something real — not another waiting room with outdated magazines.

You Know Something's Off

Maybe it's the meltdowns that come out of nowhere. The teen who used to talk your ear off and now barely makes eye contact. The pit in your stomach that says something's wrong but you don't know how to fix it. You've tried everything you can think of — the talks, the consequences, the parenting books. You're not failing. You just need someone in your corner.

Therapy That Feels Like a Safe Place, Not a Waiting Room

I'm Lea — a therapist who believes healing happens when people feel genuinely seen. I work with kids, teens, and families using a mix of evidence-based methods and plain old human connection. My office is a space where your kid can be weird, be honest, and be themselves.

Who I Help

Every kid is different. Here are some of the things I work with most.

😰

Anxiety & Worry

Constant worry, school avoidance, social fears, or panic that keeps your child stuck.

😔

Depression & Low Mood

Withdrawal, sadness, irritability, or losing interest in things they used to love.

💔

Trauma & Difficult Experiences

Processing grief, abuse, family disruption, or events that changed everything.

🔄

Life Transitions

Moving, new schools, new siblings — big changes that need support.

🌈

Identity & Self-Discovery

Gender identity, sexual orientation, self-worth, and figuring out who they are.

👨‍👩‍👧

Family Communication

When talking turns into yelling, or silence replaces connection.

BIPOC Youth

A space where your child's cultural identity is seen, respected, and celebrated — not an afterthought.

🧩

Neurodivergent Kids & Teens

ADHD, autism, sensory differences — therapy that works with how your child's brain actually works, not against it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a Professional Counselor Associate?

A PCA is a master's-level therapist working toward full licensure under the supervision of a licensed clinician. I'm supervised by Alphonso Nunez, MA, LMFT #T2282, which means you get fresh, evidence-based training with an experienced safety net.

What if my child won't open up?

Totally normal. I don't force it. I use play, art, games, and humor to build trust. Most kids warm up faster than parents expect.

Do you take insurance?

I'm a private-pay practice, which means no insurance limitations on our work together. I can provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What ages do you work with?

I work with children, teens, and families — ages 3–18.

I'm Rooting for Your Family

Your child deserves someone in their corner — someone who sees them, gets them, and helps them build the skills to navigate whatever life throws their way. Let's start with a conversation.
